Poland’s brand new buses market goes from strength to strength

Central and Eastern Europe’s most important event for the public transport industry – the International Fair of Public Transport Transexpo – is being held on 23-25 October in Targi Kielce.

Solaris, Isuzu and Automet are just some of the companies that have promised to stage première presentations at the Transexpo. Not only will it showcase cutting-edge buses; visitors have also a chance to admire older vehicles, as the Chamber of Urban Transport’s Vintage Buses Exhibition will form part of the fair, with a  number of different buses on display as living proof of the great technical development in bus construction.

The previous expo held in Targi Kielce in 2016 confirmed that the public transport industry is booming. Transexpo brought together the total number of 164 exhibitors, including 36 foreign companies; they used 10,000sqm of exhibition space and attracted 5,500 visitors.

This year’s Transexpo has again been co-organised by Targi Kielce and the Chamber of Urban Transport. The exhibition has also been granted the honorary patronage of: The Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Investment and Development. The event partners are: the Polish Association of Coach Carriers, the Polish Vehicle Transport and Forwarding Chamber of Commerce and the Kielce Municipal Transport Company.,12974/14th-international-fair-of-public-transport-transexpo,12974.htm
