Go South Coast is to operate a new bus contract on behalf of Brockenhurst College in Hampshire.
The company’s Morebus, Salisbury Reds and Bluestar brands will run the service, giving students access to a wider bus network. As well as providing a total of 28 special services a day to-and-from college – spanning a 20mile area – the new arrangement will give students the opportunity to travel outside of college hours for leisure and study at no extra cost. The Brockenhurst College buses will bring added benefits to the the surrounding community – with local people also enjoying access to these services.
“We are pleased to have established this new relationship with Go South Coast, and are looking forward to the benefits for both students and the public,” says Dom Chapman, assistant principal at Brockenhurst College.
Andrew Wickham, managing director of Go South Coast, adds: “We are delighted to be working in close partnership with Brockenhurst College to provide reliable and high quality bus services – not only for students but for the community at large.” The new contract runs for an initial period of 27 months.
